Welcome Home . . .The House at Newsome Harlow is less than half a mile from Main Street Murphys on a three-acre parcel that is the future home of Newsome Harlow where you will be able to taste through some of the finest wines in the Sierra Foothills. This five-bedroom, three bath historic farmhouse has been transformed into a chic getaway that reflects the edgy vibe of the winery.
A large wrap around porch with uptown seating and billowing curtains greets you. Inside you will find a substantial locally made dining table with seating for 12 and a fully equipped, fully modern kitchen, complete with sophisticated serving and barware. The black and white photography of the owners’ favorite musicians and the modern decor encourages you to let your hair down, put your feet up and get your groove on.
Pass through the beaded curtain into the lounge, which sports a big blue velvet couch, furry floor cushion and large screen TV.
The bedrooms are individually designed to reflect the vibe of the house and to ensure you get a great night’s rest after a day of festivities.
Downstairs there are two bedrooms, one en-suite with a King bed and a separate entrance. The iconic David Bowie inspired the front bedroom, sleep under a midnight blue sparkling ceiling in a queen canopy bed.
Upstairs a queen room has a BoHo feel; another room with two full beds has vintage concert posters. The biggest room upstairs has a king size bed and is a zen oasis with metallic silver walls and decorated all in white and silver. The large upstairs-shared hall bath has a spa tub and a shower.
