Bacon pecan praline

 

  • 4 strips of bacon cooked crispy and chopped coarsely
  • 2 cups of organic sugar
  • 1/3 cup of toasted whole pecans


In a small sauce pan, heat sugar until sugar is melted, not grainy and an amber color. Be careful not to burn!
Pour liquid sugar onto a piece of parchment paper and press bacon and pecans into hot sugar. It will be extremely hot so be careful not to burn yourself. Let cool and harden, break into pieces and enjoy!
